Multiplayer Support
This console does not support the IR-blaster functionality that is present in original Game Boy Color consoles.
Charging
- Charge the console with any USB-C cable and power adapter.
- Play-and-charge is supported and will not harm the console.
- The charging light will be blue while charging and green when charging is complete.
- The 1800 mAh lithium-ion battery is replaceable, please reach out to us if you have issues.
- AA batteries are not supported.
On-Screen Display (OSD)
- Push the volume button once to activate the on-screen display.
- Use the D-pad to move up and down; use the A and B buttons to adjust values left and right.
- To save the changes after turning off the console, move to the
Save
option and hit A. - To close the on-screen display, push the volume button once.
Audio
- Plug any 3.5mm stereo headphones into the headphone jack.
- Push the volume button up/down to adjust the headphone and speaker volume.
Screen
- Use the
Bklt
option in the OSD to adjust the screen backlight brightness. - Adjust between 3 screen modes: full, X4, and X4 pixel-grid
- To put the console to sleep, hold the volume button until the screen turns off.
- To wake the console up from sleep, hold the volume button until the screen turns on.
Games
- Works with any original Game Boy or Game Boy Color games
- Use the
Core
option in the OSD to change between Game Boy and Game Boy Color modes for games that are specific to a console. Restart the console for it to take effect. - Use the
Spd
option in the OSD to adjust the game clock speed. - Use the
Frame_Mix
option in the OSD to help with flashing transparency effects. - Emulation is sometimes imperfect, please reach out to us if you find games that have any issues, and we will reach out to the manufacturer and ask for a firmware patch.
